2026 Licensing and Inspections Fees

C.R.S. 25-1-508(5) (j) and C.R.S. 25-10-107 (1), gives local boards of health the authority to set fees to offset the actual and direct costs of services. The following table sets for the Environmental Health Fees for 2026.

Fee Payment Portal
  • Annual License and Inspection – $350 annually per license
  • Temporary Event Inspection – $80 per hour
  • Plan Review – $160 per review
  • Routine Inspection – $255 per inspection
  • Plan Review (based on two-hour minimum) – $160 per plan review
  • Site Evaluations – $80 per hour
  • Hourly Services – $80 per hour
  • Record Reviews – $95 per hour

Consultation services are $75 per hour.

  • Level One – $150 per review
  • Level Two – $150 per review
  • Level Three – $360 per review
  • Level Four – $750 per review

 

  • Annual Inspection – $210 per filtration system
  • Plan Review (based on 2-hour minimum) – $190 per plan review
  • Plan Review Additional Hours – $95 per hour

Adams County Health Department Fees

  • Special Events License – $165 annually per license
  • Special Event Plan Review Application – $160 per event
  • Special Event Plan Review Late Fee – $50 per late application
  • Special Event Inspection (per inspector) – $80 per hour
  • Education, 2-Hour In-Service Training – $160 per training

  • Re-Inspection (2-hour minimum) – $190 per installation
  • Plan Review Per Additional Hour (first hour free) – $95 per hour
  • Installers’ and Cleaners’ License New/Renewal – $35 annually per license

*Effective July 1, 2007, section 25-10-107 of the Colorado Revised statutes was amended allowing the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) Water Quality Division to assess a fee of $23 for each authorized new and repair on-site wastewater permit; $20 is transmitted to CDPHE and $3 retained by the local health department to cover administrative costs.
