Improving Public Health For All Communities
Public health is more than just the day-to-day activities. Our teams are hard at work improving, changing, and even recreating the systems that affect your health, your family’s, and your community’s health. Community Health Assessment & Improvement
Prior to 2023, Tri-County Health Department served people in Adams County. Now, the Adams County Health Department is proud to collaborate closely with the community to develop the Community Health Improvement Plan and identify three key community health priorities. Community Health Data
Data is the cornerstone guiding public health and policy changes. The Adams County Health Department makes data on our community’s health readily available for the community.
Commercial Tobacco and Nicotine
The Adams County Health Department receives funding to support initiatives focused on reducing dependency on nicotine and tobacco products. As part of our efforts, we collaborate closely with schools and partner organizations to reduce youth access to tobacco and nicotine, and empower school policies to ensure students stay healthy and safe. Maternal, Child, and Family Health
Genuine improvement to families’ health does not stop when someone leaves their provider’s office or receives a service.
