Dr. Wendy Bamberg, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Wendy Bamberg is a board-certified infectious diseases physician who completed two years of additional training in the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) program with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has 20 years of public health experience at the state and local levels, as well as abroad.
Her experiences include overseeing STI and family planning clinics at El Paso County Public Health and managing the Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Program at the Colorado Department of Public Health. Dr. Bamberg has supported multiple cross-cutting programs as a medical epidemiologist and even worked as a medical officer and public health advisor at a local public health agency in Melbourne, Australia.
