Valencia Bautista, MPH, BSN, RN

Valencia Bautista serves as the Public Health Nursing Division Director for the Adams County Health Department. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) and holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wyoming. She previously served as a board member of the Wyoming Public Health Association.

Valencia brings more than 15 years of experience across healthcare and public health settings. In public health, her experience includes leading multidisciplinary teams, overseeing public health nursing programs, and collaborating with staff to support service delivery. Her work spans immunizations and reproductive health clinical services, maternal-child health home visitation, and communicable disease investigation, response, and case management. She has also led workforce development efforts overseeing a public health nursing preceptor program and led cross-program quality improvement initiatives.
