SUMMARY:Certified Lactation Counselor Scholarship Deadline
DESCRIPTION:The Adams County Health Department (ACHD) is supporting families’ desire to breastfeed their newborns! Through this scholarship program\, ACHD is offering to pay for people to learn the skills to teach others about breastfeeding\, especially in communities of color\, LGBTQIA+\, rural\, and low-income communities that do not have as much access to breastfeeding support. \nThis scholarship covers the registration to Healthy Children Project’s Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) online course\, as well as textbook and exam costs. The scholarship recipient will also get hands-on experience through ACHD’s weekly breastfeeding support group. \nDeadline to apply: 5 p.m.\, September 27 \nScholarship recipients will be notified by September 30. \nClick to fill out the application.
