The budget and expenses for the Adams County Health Department are approved through the Adams County Board of Health Finance Committee working with the Adams County Board of County Commissioners and the Adams County Budget and Finance Department.
Similarly to other County departments, the health department’s budget is submitted through the County-wide budget process and is submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for review and approval. The health department follows all fiscal processes set forth by the County.
Revenue for the health department comes from a variety of funding sources, including County tax revenue, grant revenue, fees, and other sources.
